On December 9, 2024, the Catalan Congress of Mental Health Foundation hosted the book presentation A journey to the confines of the mind. The times we inhabit, from’Àngels Vives i Lara Díez Quintanilla.

The event took place in the Hall of Acts of the Vil·la Florida Civic Center in Barcelona.
The presentation was attended by Victor Martí Carrasco, director of the CCSM Foundation.
They also intervened there Juanjo García, prologuist of the book, and Francesc de Diego, author of the artwork for the cover.
The authors, Àngels Vives Belmonte, psychiatrist and psychoanalyst, and Lara Díez Quintanilla, psychologist and artistic creator, presented their work.
The book is the result of twelve years of conversations between the two authors about the mind and the times we live in.
The work proposes a journey through five dimensions to explore the mind and the human body.
At the same time, it questions the foundations of knowledge and some of the current practices in the field of mental health.
The authors raise the need to generate new thinking capable of opening up possibilities and broadening perspectives on the human experience.
The event offered a space for reflection and dialogue on mental health, aimed at all people interested in understanding how humans have organized themselves throughout history.
